Digital Goa, Apr 29 – Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has issued a public notice inviting suggestions from the public on the draft notification proposing changes in regulations under the Goa (Regulation of Land Development and Building Construction) Act, within next 30 days. The draft notification proposes amendments in the Act to permit constructions for specific purposes like agriculture research, sports and religious arenas and yoga centres, in agriculture, orchard and natural reserve lands. All objections and/or suggestions to the said draft Regulations are to be forwarded to the Chief Town Planner (Administration), Town and Country Planning Department, 2nd Floor, Dempo Tower, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa, before the expiry of the said period of 30 days so that they may be taken into consideration at the time of finalization of the said draft Regulations.
The draft regulation will be taken into consideration by the govt after expiry of a period of 30 days, states the notice.
