Digital Goa, June 19 – The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has notified the conversion of 1,69,248 sq. metres of land to settlement zone under Section 39A of the TCP Act.The approved land parcels are located in Aldona (777 sq. m), Assonora (350 sq. m), and Ella, Tiswadi (1,68,121 sq. m). The changes involve alterations and modifications to the Regional Plan for Goa 2021, following a 30-day period for public objections and suggestions.The notification states that the modifications will remain subject to the outcome of PIL Writ Petition in this regards currently pending before the High Court.
TCP Dept approves conversion of 35,896 sq m land to settlement zone; objections invited
The dept has also notified the approval for conversion of 35,896 sq. metres of land into the settlement zone under Section 39A of the TCP Act.The land parcels proposed for conversion are located in the villages of Assagao, Sircaim, Pilerne, Colomb, Siridao, and Curca. The department has invited objections and suggestions from stakeholders within 30 days of the notification.
