Digital Goa, July 17 – TCP Department has approved proposals under Section 39A of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act to convert 15 land parcels with a combined area of 73,008 square metres across 11 villages to settlement zone in RP 2021, and has invited objections and suggestions from the public within 30 days. The proposed conversions cover land parcels in Candola, Nadora, Siolim, Nagvem, Verna, Cumbharjua, Nanus, Arpora, Morjim, Parra and Poinguinim. Among the major proposals is the conversion of 29,500 sq m in Candola from institutional to settlement zone. The department has stated that objections and suggestions should be submitted to the Chief Town Planner (Planning),Panaji, within 30 days.
