Digital Goa, July 16 – The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has notified the conversion of 10 land parcels measuring a total of 27,605 square metres to settlement zone under Section 39A of the TCP Act. According to the notification, the conversions cover five land parcels in Morjim and others at Assagao, Reis Magos and Candolim through alterations to the Regional Plan. The notification, however, clarifies that the land-use changes will remain subject to the final outcome of the PIL writ petitions pending before the High Court challenging the provisions of Section 39A.
