Sept 4 – Services of lady teachers from govt aided primary school at Camurlim who has allegedly assaulted the 9-year-old student will be terminated if allegations against them are proven to be true, informed Education Director Shailesh Zingde. Pointing out that the school management had failed in following the procedures and was trying to cover up for the teachers in a way, Zingde warned, “Govt may even take over the school.” He also informed that instructions have been given to suspend the teacher by 4 pm today and initiate an unbiased inquiry.
