Digital Goa, Oct 18- A person from Assonora has been duped to the tune of Rs 58.50 lakh by his tenants on the pretext of putting money in a scheme that allegedly doubled the money invested. House owner Sukdo Nasnolkar has filed police complaint against the accused Vijay Redekar and Riya Acharya who had rented a room in his house. The couple convinced Nasnolkar about the money doubling scheme and forced him to invest Rs 58.50 lakh during the period 2016 to 2023. The duo allegedly threaten to kill Nasnolkar when he demanded his money back.
