Feb 17 – Goa Tourism Development Corporation(GTDC) has floated Rs 110 crore worth tender for development of Townsquare at Porvorim, under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) Scheme. The Townsquare is expected to have 5 zones and will include Amphitheatre, basement parking, Market Court & Multifunctional Space- Food court sitting space (100 pax), Multifunctional space – flee market, pop up bazar, etc., Food carts & souvenir shops, Central Court / Fountain Court – Musical fountain, Watch tower, Splash pad, Movie Court -Movie Screen (projection mapping), Seat out, admin. Souvenir shops, Heritage Court , Artisan’s Platform among others.
