“The series is a homage to the valour of Railway Men that we all take for granted, it gives space to the unsung heroes, especially those who sacrifice themselves to save people on that fateful night of Bhopal Gas Tragedy,” said, Kay Kay Menon, one of the lead actor of the recently released web series, The Railway Men at a Press Conference, held on the sideline of 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa today. The four episode web series is based on true events of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy of 1984. In-Conversation session was held at Kala Academy with stellar cast and crew of ‘The Railway Men’ including Shiv Rawail, Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan, Divyenndu Sharma, Aayush Gupta, and Tanya Bami who delved into the art of ‘Bringing stories rooted in reality to screen’
Responding to a question on the reason behind making a four episode series on a real incident, Director, Shiv Rawail said that for a filmmaker, pushing yourself and to tell the most difficult story to the audience is the best part of making cinema.
