Digital Goa, Nov 4 – In a significant development in the gruesome murder of 2.7 year old girl in Maulinguem, Bicholim, the third accused, G Kallesh (21) of Godadanahal, Chitradurga District, Karnataka, was arrested from Bengaluru on the basis of technical surveillance. Police say Kallesh had conspired with the live-in couple — Nithin Kumara (29) and Nagamma (28) — to kill the child because the mother’s suitor (Kallesh) allegedly refused to accept the daughter from her previous marriage. During custodial interrogation, Nagamma who was married to one Ravi V admitted that she killed her daughter by smothering on Kallesh’s instigation, and that Nithin who is also a mutual friend, was framed to take the blame.
