Three member Mahadayi PRAWAH meets Goa Chief Secretary

    Digital Goa, Aug 3- Three member Mahadayi PRAWAH Authority met Goa Chief Secretary Punit Kumar Goel at the State Secretariat today. Union Jal Shakti Ministry had constituted the 3 member authority with Member of the Central Water Commission, P M Scot as its chairperson, with Virendra Sharma, chief engineer of Mon (S) Bangalore, as member (monitoring and regulation), and Ashok Kumar, director, appraisal, Central Water Commission as it’s secretary, in the last week of July. The Authority will have its headquarters in Panaji. The Mahadayi PRAWAH has been constituted to ensure fair distribution of water and prevent illegal diversion of river Mhadei.
