Digital Goa, Oct 30- The Goa Foundation has filed a contempt petition alleging that Goa government did not implement the Bombay High Court’s order to notify area around the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary as tiger reserve. The Green NGO today brought to the notice of the High Court that the Tiger Reserve has not been notified by the Goa govt even after the expiry of 3 month time given to the govt by the Court. The HC allotted deadline has expired on Oct 24. The matter will come before the court on Wednesday, Nov 1. Incidentally, Goa government has also filed a plea in the High Court to extend the deadline of October 24 for notifying the tiger reserve.
