Aug 17 – Damage to the Tillari canal between Sateli and Bhedshi in Sindhudurg is not likely to affect the water supply to Goa, opined Water Resource Minister Subhash Shirodkar. Stating that Maharashtra will float Rs 250 crore odd worth tender in next 6 to 8 months to repair the over 30-year-old canal, Shirodkar said that Goa govt will also have to give its share of the repair work to them.
