Digital Goa, Dec 22- Water woes of North Goa, specially Porvorim area are likely to end in a day or two with the release of water in the two Tillari canals. The water supply coming from the Tillari to Goa through the two canals was stopped for repairs and annual maintenance works since November 27. The work has been completed and water will be released in the canals by 12 noon tomorrow, informed WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar. “The work was completed early morning today. By 12 noon tomorrow, water will be released in the canal and it is likely to reach Goa by 24th night or 25th morning,” informed the minister. “With this, Porvorim plant can be started in 2 to 3 days time,” he added.
