Digital Goa, Oct 4- Goa govt today notified the Goa Staff Selection Commission(Amendment) Act, 2023 (Goa Act 41 of 2023), which allows government departments to complete the pending recruitments to group C posts by Oct 31. The earlier ordinance had specified the date as Aug 31. Some of the Goa govt departments that had issued advertisements for subordinate posts prior to January 8, 2022, had not completed the examination and selection process for filling up the posts. These depts were earlier given deadline till Aug 31 to complete the selection process. The same has now been extended till Oct 31. “Provided that where advertisements for filling up of the sub-ordinate services/posts were issued prior to the 8th day of January, 2022, the concerned Department may conduct examination and complete the selection process of such sub-ordinate services/posts not later than 31st day of October, 2023,” states the notification.
