Jan 1 – A two-year-old girl child from a tourist family died in tragic accident at Vasco. The accident allegedly occurred when the father of the child identified as Kalilulla Khan had stopped at a petrol pump at Vasco to fill fuel in the rent-a-bike which the family was using to travel in Goa. The bike allegedly skidded and the child fell down. She was rushed to Chicalim Sub District Hospital where she was declared brought dead. The family of the child hails from Tamil Nadu and had come to Goa on vacation.
