Digital Goa, Dec 14 – In a tragic incident a one-and-half year old toddler succumbed to injury which she received while trying to remove a toy which had accidentally fallen below a bus caught up in traffic jam. The incident occurred on Dec 12 at around 7.30 pm at Hankhane, Mopa. The KTC bus was stuck in traffic at Hankhane and the car in which the child was travelling was before the bus. The car occupants had got down from the car and were busy removing some things from the car. The child also got down during this time. Her toy slipped from her hand and went under the KTC bus. The child went below the bus to fetch the toy. One onlooker noticed the child and pulled her out. During the process she sustained injury on her hip. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries today. No complaint has been filed in the matter.
