Digital Goa, Sept 14- Two panels Progressive Goa University backed by NSUI and Together for University have claimed victory in the Goa University Students Council Elections held today. The election to elect the Executive Committee of Goa University Students Council will be held on Sept 29. Speaking to the media after the results, the leader of Together for University claimed that they got the strength of 18 including the 7 unopposed elected members in the 26 member executive Council. On the other hand, Progressive Goa University backed by NSUI also said that they have the majority and they will form the council on Sept 29. “We have a total of 14 elected members including 7 unopposed and 3 more in touch. “ABVP, which is spreading hatred in the university campus is totally rejected by the students as they fail to get a single seat despite the CM intervening to cancel the elections last time to help them”, said NSUI leader Naushad Chaudhari.
