Digital Goa, Jan 28 – Chimbel villagers have decided not to attend the meeting called by the CM Sawant to discuss the proposed Unity Mall project at the Kadamba Plateau. The villagers said the government should first provide them with a copy of the DPR so that they can study the matter before meeting the CM. Meanwhile, the joint survey underway for last few days to study the zone of influence as demanded by the villagers was completed today and the draft minutes of the survey were handed over to all concerned parties including the villagers. “The survey has just been completed, and we need at least 24 hours to correlate the observations we have made. We will submit our report after that,” the villagers’ lawyer said.
