Digital Goa, May 30 – As a next step towards introducing blue cabs at the Manohar International Airport, State Transport Department has invited P.Co.P. A(permit in respect of a Contract Carriage) applications from taxi operators from Pernem who have previously submitted their forms . The applications are to be submitted from June 9 to June 15 in P.Co.P. A form prescribed under Goa Motor Vehicle Rule 1991 in the office of the Assistant Director of Transport, Pernem. “Applications will be accepted from the individuals who have previously submitted duly filled forms in response to the public notice published by the Directorate of Transport in the newspapers dated 05/01/2023 and among these applications priority will be given for the applicants who were in possession of motor vehicle at the time of submission of the application,” states the public notice issued by Assistant Director of Transport North, Pernem. As of Feb 15,2023 govt had received around 170 applications for blue cabs.
