Digital Goa, Nov 4 – Panaji Police have registered a case against an official of the transport dept for allegedly using a fake work experience certificate to secure the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI) in the Directorate of Transport in 2010. The accused is identified Dattaprasad Naik from Madkai, Ponda. As per the complaint filed by Dy Director of Transport, the accused is alleged to have submitted a forged certificate dated December 16, 2010, purportedly issued by a garage at Merces, to falsely show one year of experience required for the post to which he was applying.
