Travel firm directors booked for cheating 3 Porvorim residents for ₹79.46 lakh

Digital Goa, July 29 – Panaji Police have registered a cheating case against the directors of a Caranzalem-based travel company for allegedly duping three persons from Porvorim for ₹79.46 lakh on the pretext of arranging foreign tours and expanding the business. According to the complaint, the accused allegedly induced the complainants to invest money between 2023 and June 15, 2026, promising overseas tour arrangements and business expansion. Police said the promised commitments were not fulfilled and the money was not returned despite repeated demands.
