Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum to bring history alive through AR, VR and Holograms; tender floated

Digital Goa, June 23 – Visitors to the upcoming Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum at Bandora, Ponda, may soon find themselves walking through Goa’s liberation history rather than simply reading about it. GTDC has floated a tender to create a cutting-edge digital experience at the museum, with plans for immersive storytelling using augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), holographic projections, projection mapping, spatial audio and 3D/4D animation. Designed to honour the contribution of tribal communities to the freedom struggle and preserve Goa’s rich tribal heritage, the museum will blend traditional exhibits with modern technology to recreate historical events, cultural practices and stories of resistance in an engaging format. The proposed installations will include multimedia projection mapping, interactive audio guides, physical scenography, holographic displays and immersive visual and sound effects, transforming the museum into an experiential cultural destination rather than a conventional gallery.
