Nov 29 – Three persons have been arrested by Margao Town Police for allegedly wrongfully restraining a person, assaulting him and further threatening to kill him over a petty issue. The accused are identified as Elvis Fernandes, Conrad Fernandes and Eric Fernandes, all residents of Malbhat, Margao. Jilani Kanvi a resident of Padribhat, Nessai, Sao Jose de Areal and a native of Hubli, Karnataka had filed a complaint that he was assaulted by the trio on the night of Nov 27.
