Digital Goa, Aug 28 – Three persons including a scrapyard owner have been arrested by Vasco police for stealing water supply fittings worth Rs 12.85 lakh from a Public Works Department storeroom at PWD quarters at Sada, Vasco. The accused are identified as Nagu Gollar (age 50 years), Onba Rathod (age 40 years) and Apanna Rathod (age 40 years). The stolen goods have been recovered from Gollar’s scrapyard at Birla. Vasco police apprehended the trio after they were found moving suspiciously near Chicalim joggers park. They have confessed to the crime, informed police.
