Digital Goa, August 29 – Two balconies of the dilapidated Happy Apartment collapsed onto a busy residential colony road in Vasco this morning. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, as traffic was minimal due to Ganesh festivities. The four-storey building has been in the dilapidated condition and the balconies on the third and fourth floors gave way following heavy rainfall. Local MLA Krishna Salkar stated that many such buildings, including some government structures, are in dangerous condition and must be demolished before a tragedy occurs.
