Digital Goa, Sept 7 – Two persons were booked by Cyber Crime Cell of Goa police for allegedly cheating a foreign national lady staying at Porvorim to the tune of Rs 48 lakh by luring her to invest in a joint venture selling computers and accessories. The duo allegedly took the money from the lady between November 2021 to June 2022 but as there were no signs of starting the business, the lady filed the complaint. They have both been booked under sections 419 and 420 of IPC.
