Digital Goa, Sept 1– Tourist Police imposed a fine of ₹5,000 each on two tourists from Delhi for driving 2 rent-a-cars on Morjim beach on Aug 31. The video of the cars driving on the beach had gone viral on social media. The accused are identified as Sahil Bansal and Mayank Sharma. The action was taken under Goa Tourist Places (Protection and Maintenance) Act, , which prohibits unauthorised driving of vehicles on beaches.
