Digital Goa, Oct 20 – Two Karnataka natives have been arrested by Calangute police for running a cricket game betting racket from an Apartment at Gaurawado Calangute. 36-year-old Prajeesh Ramachandra from Udupi and 26-year-old Suman Harshith from Mangalore, Karnataka were caught red handed while accepting gambling bets by using mobile phones and laptop on the on-going ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 match played between India and Bangladesh. 8 mobile phones, one Laptop and a television set, all worth Rs 1.5 lakh approximately have been seized from them.
