Digital Goa, June 11 – Calangute Police have arrested owner and filed FIR against manager, of the hotel in which two minor girls were sexually abused by two men over the weekend, for allegedly providing accommodation to the accused without verification. Rajat Chauhan who is owner of a hotel/guest house in Calangute has been arrested, and FIR has been registered the manager/receptionist of the guest house. Police said that they will also initiate steps to seal the the hotel and move for cancellation of its license. Three minor girls, two of whom were sisters, between the age group of 11 to 15 had gone for birthday celebration at Calangute on Saturday. Their parents filed a complaint after they failed to return home til later. Following this, police rescued all three minor victim girls from a Hotel in Calangute on Sunday and also two male who were present with them were apprehended. Through the statement of the victims before Victim Assistance Unit it was revealed that two victim girls were sexually abused in Hotel rooms. In this connection 19-year-old Penha De France, Alto Porvorim resident who is native of Hubli Karnataka and 21-year-old Housing Board Colony, Porvorim resident were arrested by police.
