Digital Goa, Sept 19 – Panaji Police late night arrested two more accused in the brutal attack on activist Rama Kankonkar, which took place yesterday. The two accused are Franco D’Costa, 28, from St. Cruz, and Sairaj Govekar, 28, from Pilerne, Bardez. Franco was reportedly riding the bike of Anthony Nadar, who is already in police custody. Sairaj was one of the assailants and was present at the crime scene with his scooter. Franco was arrested in St. Cruz, while Sairaj was picked up from the market area of Mapusa. Meanwhile, the five accused arrested yesterday have been remanded to five days of police custody. According to the police, efforts are ongoing to recover the two-wheelers, mobile phones, and weapons used in the offence.
