Digital Goa, Apr 8- In a tragic incident, a two-year-old boy drowned after allegedly accidentally falling into an open drain near the Housing Board area in Rumdamol-Davorlim on Monday evening. The child, identified as Shifan, was playing outside his rented home when the mishap occurred.The family hails from Sundarpur in Uttar Pradesh. While Shifan was playing near the house, he reportedly lost balance and fell into the open drain. The incident went unnoticed until it was too late. Mormugao police have registered the case as an unnatural death. However, the child’s family has expressed suspicion of foul play, prompting further investigation into the matter.
