Digital Goa, Oct 18 – Goa govt has mandated requirement of UDID Number or UDID Enrollment Number with copy of disability certificate (incase UDID number is not available) for availing all the schemes and entitlements including Health, Education and Recruitment pertaining to Persons with disabilities(PwD) in the state of Goa. Govt has asked all Departments, Corporations, Autonomous bodies to strictly insist on UDID Number, UDID Enrollment Number with copy of disability certificate. Directorate of Social Welfare has issued a circular to this effect. Union govt has implemented the project for issuance of Disability certificate and Unique Disability Identity(UDID) Card to Persons with Disabilities for availing various benefits provided by Central and various states Government for their empowerment.
