Digital Goa, Mar 5 – Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Naval War College building and Project Seabird Infrastructure in Goa today. The modern edifice, named the ‘Chola’, pays homage to the maritime empire of the Chola dynasty of ancient India. Pointing out that the country has changed its perspective from being a ‘landlocked country with sea shores’, to an ‘island country with land borders’, Singh asserted that strengthening of India will strengthen democracy and rule of law in the Indio Pacific region.
