United opposition seeks Governor’s intervention to curb communal disharmony in Goa

Digital Goa, Oct 3- United opposition led by Leader of Opposition(LoP) Yuri Alemao met governor P S Sreedharan Pillai today urging him to intervene and ask the govt to take proactive measures to curb communal disharmony in the state. They alleged that situation was going from bad to worse. Governor gave us a patient hearing and said that he will write to CM Pramod Sawant in this regards, he added. The united opposition delegation comprised of Congress, AAP, RG, TMC and Shiv Sena. The delegation also urged the governor to instruct govt to take up survey similar to the one taken up by Bihar govt specially with reference to SC, ST, OBC population.
