Digital Goa, Jan 26 – CM Pramod Sawant on Monday appealed to the Unity Mall agitators and concerned citizens to maintain calm and wait for the ongoing land inspection and survey of the Toyyar lake wetland to be completed. After the process is concluded, a meeting will be convened at the earliest to review the findings, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed. The inspection and survey are expected to be completed by January 27, 2026. Following this, CM will meet the representatives of the agitators again to discuss and review the outcome, informed CMO. CM had held a meeting on January 21 with the villagers. “As requested by the representatives and agreed upon during the meeting, it was decided to conduct a joint inspection and survey of the site in the presence of the agitators, their experts, and government officials and experts. It was also agreed that a follow-up meeting would be held after the completion of the inspection and survey,” informed CMO.
