Digital Goa, August 24 – Ponda Police Station has registered case against unknown persons for illegally operating a laterite stone quarry at the hilly area of Marad Wada, near Multifacility College in Dharbandora. The accused, reportedly owners of the land and machinery, extracted laterite stones using various machines without authorization. Police have seized a horizontal laterite stone cutting machine and a power tiller from the site.
