Digital Goa, May 8 – Margao Police have filed an FIR against a man from Uttar Pradesh after a woman accused him of rape and extorting over ₹16 lakh from her. According to the complaint, the accused identified as Pappu Ji Tiwari alias Sachdev Tiwari from UP allegedly intoxicated the woman and sexually assaulted her outside a hotel near Margao railway station on June 15, 2024. Police said the complainant also alleged that the accused extorted money to the tune of RS 16 lakh from her.
