Digital Goa, Jan 19 – A Uttar Pradesh native has been arrested by Porvorim police for allegedly tearing two banners erected at Porvorim in view of consecration at Ram temple in Ayodhya on Jan 22. The accused who is a daily wage labourer was caught near the Calangute circle. Police used CCTV footage along the road to nab him. He walked along with a stolen bag from Porvorim to Calangute, informed police. The accused has confessed to doing the act in inebriated state informed police.
