Digital Goa, 30, June – A meeting to discuss strengthening Goa’s export sector, particularly agricultural exports, was held in New Delhi with Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, informed CM Pramod Sawant. CM said that during the meeting, he requested the establishment and operationalisation of an APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) office in Goa. He asserted that this would provide crucial support to local farmers and agri-entrepreneurs and give a fillip to the state’s agricultural exports.
