Digital Goa, Jan 23 – A person from Patval, Valpoi was cheated of ₹3.45 lakh on the pretext of an overseas job offer, following which Valpoi police registered an offence on January 23. According to the complaint filed by Santosh Dattaram Salkar, a resident of Patval, Valpoi, Sattari, the accused, identified as Robert Kennedy, gained his trust and offered him employment in Poland. On September 19, 2025, the accused allegedly induced the complainant to transfer a total amount of ₹3.45 lakh through three separate bank transactions from his bank accounts. But the promised job was not given, stated the complaint.
