Digital Goa, June 9 -In the coming year, benefits of various govt schemes from housing to toilet will be given to the Vanarmare community of Nirankal and Pernem to help them assimilate into the mainstream, informed CM Pramod Sawant. Two of the community members were given senrior citizen cards and 2 others were given pension benefits, he added. He was speaking at the “Sankalp Se Siddhi” programme held at Ponda, to mark 11 years of the Modi Government and the first anniversary of Modi 3.0. As part of the event, Forest Rights Sanads were distributed to 136 beneficiaries—90 from North Goa and 46 from South Goa—under the Forest Rights Act.
