Oct 17 – Goa University Vice Chancellor Harilal Menon today assured to keep the interviews for two posts of Earth Sciences Dept scheduled tomorrow on hold. He gave this assurance after Goa Forward gheraoed him and charged that Goa University is biased against Goan candidates. They questioned him as to why the interviews held last year were scrapped and the posts were re-advertised. They warned VC against going ahead with these interviews. VC has also agreed to meet a delegation of Goa Forward on Monday who have said that they will present a list of Goan candidates eligible for the post.
