Oct 9 – Subhash Velingkar has moved the High Court after his anticipatory bail plea was dismissed by the Panaji District & Sessions Court on Monday. The High Court will hear the matter tomorrow. Meanwhile, Bicholim police have slapped a third notice on the door of Velingkar’s residence in Panaji, asking him to present himself before the Bicholim Police tomorrow and cooperate in the investigation process. The senior leader is in the eye of the storm over his remark about getting the DNA of the sacred relics of St. Francis Xavier tested to ascertain the identity.
