Digital Goa, Oct 27 – A 48-year-old Verna resident, Pravin Sawant, died after being hit by an unidentified car near SGDH, Margao, early Monday. The driver fled the scene without aiding the victim. A 108 ambulance team declared Sawant dead on the spot. Fatorda Police are investigating the case.
