Aug 2 – House was assured of a detailed inquiry into the sale of land at Sancoale by Zuari Industries by CM Pramod Sawant. He also asserted that govt will go ahead and cancel permissions given in the past if the need be. Goa Forward leader Vijai Sardessai alleged of a mega scam in the matter wherein land acquired for industrial use was allegedly being sold for residential purposes at exorbitant rates.
