Digital Goa, Sept 17 – A 22-year-old youth from West Bengal, identified as Chayyel Mondal and working as a waiter in a Mapusa restaurant, has been arrested with 13 stolen mobile phones worth around ₹2.4 lakh. Police tracked him while investigating a stolen phone through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal. Enquiries with a Jharkhand native, who had purchased one of the stolen phones, led the police to the accused.
