Digital Goa, Nov 27 – Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday said he has not yet taken details from the police regarding the Pooja Naik case. “I have not taken details from police yet. First the police will brief regarding the matter, and then I will speak on the issue,” he said.
Over the ‘Tales of Kamasutra’ event, Sawant claimed that he had instructed police to ban the event before civil society members gave representation over the issue. “We are not allowing these kind of events,” he said adding that unless and until official permission is taken for any event, organisers are not permitted to advertise for any event from anywhere. He said he has asked police to take action on the organisers.

On the CEC report related to Tiger Reserve, he reiterated that Govt has not yet received CEC report. He said he will speak about the issue about studying the report.

When queried over the Shirgao Dev Lairai Jatra stampede probe, Sawant said, govt has received the file and due action will be taken. He went on to add that infrastructure and road expansion plans for better crowd management has been received by the govt and work is on over the same.
