Digital Goa, Dec 1 – One Putorciano Fernandes from Nuvem was booked for harassing and subjecting her daughter-in-law to cruelty for demanding dowry. Her daughter-in-law Samantha Fernandes (30) had committed suicide by setting herself on fire at her residence three months back. Mother of the deceased had alleged that Samantha committed suicide due to constant harassment by her mother-in-law and refused to accept the dead body of her daughter. Maina-Curtorim Police registered a case of harassment and cruelty against Putorciano Fernandes in the matter.
