Digital Goa, August 6 – A woman was booked under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act after she allegedly attacked a dog with a sharp weapon following repeated barking, leaving the animal seriously injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at Pixem Dongri, Vasco. According to a complaint filed by 55-year-old resident, his neighbour allegedly stabbed his pet dog multiple times with a knife around 5:30 pm, yesterday reportedly enraged by its continuous barking.
