Jan 10- Supriya Gaonkar, a resident of Khotigao lost her life after falling into a deep ravine near Galgibag, Canacona. The tragedy occurred when a strong breeze caused by a passing train allegedly swept her off balance. Supriya was allegedly on her way to collect clams at Galgibaga beach along with a group of local women. The route to the beach went via a railway track. As the group reached the tracks, a train approached, generating powerful gusts of wind. While the other women in the group sat down to stabilise themselves, Supriya who was standing and was reportedly blown off balance, plunging into the ravine adjacent to the railway track. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
